Céraquitaine parie sur l’exportation dans le monde entier
La SAS Céraquitaine, fabricant français de céramiques réfractaires sur mesure, exporte désormais plus de 45 % de sa production.
Créée en 1903 à Saint Aulaye (24), Céraquitaine a été rachetée en juin 2009 par Gilles Pouteau. « J’ai en fait intégré cette société en 2002 car son créateur, qui m’avait recruté pour lui succéder, tenait à ce que je passe par tous les postes clés de l’entreprise avant son départ en retraite », explique Gilles Pouteau. Il a ensuite développé cette PME artisanale installée dans un bâtiment de 10 000 m2 sur un terrain de 30 000 m2 et investi en acquérant des matériels spécialisés dans le secteur du pressage, notamment une presse de 1600 tonnes LAIES totalement automatisée, et dans celui de la cuisson avec un four à rouleaux cuisant à 1600°C.
« Céraquitaine, explique ce dirigeant, a pour caractéristique d’être avant tout reconnue pour son savoir-faire, exigeant une forte main-d’œuvre, aujourd’hui 33 salariés dont 25 % de cadres terrain. Mais aussi pour sa capacité d’innovation due à l’analyse permanente des besoins des clients qui alimente la recherche et le développement afin de coller au plus près aux besoins du marché. Également pour le contrôle minutieux apporté à chaque étape des produits qui doivent être conformes aux critères de qualité définis lors de la commande. 49 % du chiffre d’affaires de Ceraquitaine est réalisé pour la céramique traditionnelle (producteurs de tuiles et briques, de carreaux, de porcelaine, de sanitaires…), 16 % pour les constructeurs de fours, 10 % pour les fabricants de produits électroniques, 8 % pour les céramiques techniques, 5 % pour l’industrie pétrochimique, 5 % pour l’industrie automobile, et le reste sur des marchés de niche.
«Toutes les pièces que nous proposons, des supports de cuisson ou de résistance spécifiques, sont à la fois techniques et sur-mesure ». Céraquitaine est la seule entreprise de son marché qui produit en France : « nous sommes bien sûr concurrencés sur le territoire national par des entreprises qui importent leurs produits d’Europe de l’est, de Thaïlande ou de Chine. Mais nous exportons nos produits dans le monde entier : Europe (Allemagne, Finlande, Italie, République Tchèque), Maroc, Tunisie, Égypte, Iran, Turquie, Inde, Brésil, Mexique. En quatre ans, nous avons plus que doublé notre chiffre à l’exportation, et notre chiffre d’affaires atteindra près de 3,4 millions d’euros en 2011 ».
L’exportation permettra de survivre à une année 2012 difficile
« Si nous exportons plus de 45 % de notre chiffre d’affaires, cela tient à beaucoup de facteurs. Tout d’abord parce que la qualité de nos produits est reconnue à tel point que beaucoup de nos clients, qui se sont expatriés pour des raisons de main-d’œuvre à bas coût, nous sont restés fidèles malgré la distance et ont même contribué à nous apporter de nouveaux clients.
